Before you leave the studio, your new tattoo should be covered and should be kept in place for at least an hour. This is to keep it clean and protected from outside elements, afterall you have an “open wound”.
Your tattoo artist or customer desk personnel will explain how to look after your tattoo and give you recommendation about what creams to apply; what activities should be avoided such as sun beds and swimming. We carry many aftercare products in stock that we have chosen for their excellent qualities.

If your tattoo scabs a bit don’t worry. It’s normal. But never pick, scratch, or peel it. You could get an infection or remove the color. If you think your tattoo is infected, or isn’t healing properly, let us know and go see your doctor.
Once your tattoo has healed, you move into maintenance mode. Though you don’t have to specifically care for it after a month or so, there are things you can do to prevent the ink from degrading.

Always use a mild, fragrance-free soap or a specially formulated tattoo cleanser to clean the area. Your tattoo artist can recommend a tattoo-specific cleanser.
